As every year, Leach & Lang has chosen September as the month dedicated for people who need some help or support . We want to put the emphasis on sharing and due to this reason, September is our month of charity.
As usual, the first point of this activity was our participation in Kraków Business Run. This event, cooperating with Jasiek Mela’s foundation “Beyond Horizons”, helps to activate disabled people and fulfill their dreams after the amputation. We are proud to announce that we managed to collect 20 376 PLN for this purpose!
As in a previous year, Leach & Lang was a sponsor of the Le Cure de France – a rally cycling, running through the beautiful alpine route, during which entrants covered a distance of nearly 400 km of slopes and over 10 000 m of climbing on cycles. The unique reward for the extraordinary effort were stunning views and more than 185 000 British pounds collected for the purpose of the foundation – supporting the cancer research. Although Tom Leach has had no possibility to start in the rally this year, we supported the event emotionally and financially, remaining one of the main sponsors of the rally.
Coming back to Krakow, in Podgórze district, a charity cruise will start on Saturday and its profits will be donated to the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent A Paulo for children from the community in Zywiec. The beginning of this amazing cruise is planned about 3.30 p.m. During the five-hour tour, visitors will be accompanied by live music and DJ, there will be a bar offering drinks and catering.
