This past Saturday, 14th September, saw the second ‘Leach & Lang Classic’ golf competition take place at Seychelles Golf Club, Anse Aux Pins on Mahe, Seychelles.
Almost forty contestants sporting pristine white Leach & Lang Titleist golf-caps, and armed with handfuls of logoed tees shot it out in a Stableford format over 18 holes for an array of prizes.
The prize for ‘Nearest the Gin’ was won by Darryl Antony, whilst the ‘Leach & Longest Drive’ was picked up Christian Serfontein. Sunshine Tour and SGC club professional, William Weidner, picked up the Takamaka aged rum prize for Best Pro in this edition.
Best Lady was won once again by Peggy Pragassen collecting a bottle of Moet & Chandon for her solid 28 points. The Men’s competition was hard-fought – Dr Zia Rizvi picked up 3rd spot with a creditable 38 points, Peter Moncherry came in 2nd with 39 after just losing out on the countback and the worthy winner with a strong 20 points on the back-nine to edge the top-spot was Mark Creane also with 39 points.
Lunch ‘Chez Godefroy’ and more than one cold Seybrew proved the perfect end to a great day.
We look forward to repeating once again in 2020 with even more visitors from the world of Polish real estate.
