Few months ago we received a request for comprehensive finishing of the apartment in the Rogatka 32 investment, the sale of which was conducted by our company. The project concerned an apartment with an area of 72 m2, which included a living room with a kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom, office and hall.

We started the work with a detailed interview, to find out Client`s preferences regarding the functionality and design of the apartment. Requirements of the owner were very specific and precised - there was no room for accident or misguided move.

On our first drawings we proposed three different versions of the furniture and passageways arrangement. We proposed to widened the long L-shaped corridor by tearing down the wall, which enabled us to design the seat and enlarged the space of a hall - our client liked this idea.

The further step was the stylistic design. The apartment was supposed to be allergy-friendly, so the amount of textiles had to be reduced to a minimum. For this reason we resigned from carpets and curtains. The second requirement was to avoid any cladding on the walls such as brick, concrete or wallpaper. We could, however, play with colours.

Our client was not afraid of black colour. To take advantage of this, we designed a black kitchen that he liked very much. Because we know how difficult to maintain black surfaces are, we focused on kitchen fronts made of Egger Perfectsense Matt furniture board. It is very easy to clean and ‘fingerprints-proof’ material. We decorated the rest of the living room with black accessories, giving it a loft style. The furniture on the TV wall has a structure of metal, and we add black lamps above the table.

The corridor was arranged with huge wardrobes with mirrored fronts. Wardrobes equipped with bars, shelves and drawers were designed for both clothes as well as household items. Between them, in the place of the demolished wall, we designed a seat and small hanging cabinets for handy things such as keys.

The office is the brightest room in the apartment. It is the client's workplace, so we have choosen an energetic yellow colour for the wall, which stimulates and motivates to action. It juxtaposes with a white furniture. A little sofa bed and a small table complement the equipment.

Our client is a fan of vivid, bright colours, which is why the bedroom walls have a strong blue shade, which, combined with a dark wood of the furniture, creates an original, unusual space.

The bathroom is large and gave us a lot to show off. The furniture in this room has been made-to-measure. There are three cabinets. One is for a washing machine and dryer, the other hangs above the toilet, and the third hangs next to the washbasin. The last two are intended for small items, e.g. cleaning products. Here, similar as in the living room, we also have chosen black accessories which relate to the other parts of the apartment and give it a coherent character.

After the acceptance of the stylistic design, we proceeded to create a technical documentation. Drawing of electricity installation lines was a real challenge for us. The Client being an IT expert  wanted to adapt his apartment to work remotely, so it was necessary to install specially intended RJ42, RJ45 and USB sockets. Thanks to such adaptation of the electrical installation, we managed to create an ideal place for the client to work at home.

After completing the design stage, we went to the finishing works. Our duties in this process included supervising the progress of works, ordering equipment and furniture, as well as coordinating deadlines and orders.

We managed to implement the project almost 100% completely, except for the small details that resulted in the coordination process. It was wonderful to see a project that was previously only visible on paper. The final effect exceeded our expectations, and additionally we gained gratitude of our client who liked the final results of our work very much.
