In September, as every year, we support those in need. At Leach & Lang, we continue the tradition of engaging in charity campaigns and also this year we took part in the Poland Business Run and supported the Le Cure campaign.
Our running teams have competed for a good cause for the 9th time.
This year, the run took place in the remote and stationary formula – the latter option included the route around the Krakow Błonia, and our two teams took part in both forms of the run.
However, the fight for the best possible time of the covered distance is not everything. Competition in fundraising was no less important element of the event.
In the “Pomagam bardziej” campaign, we once again found ourselves among the best teams in terms of the amount of funds raised: our team won in this category and collected as much as PLN 42,386, while the total amount collected by our three teams was PLN 54,166! We are proud of this amazing result! The sum of funds collected by all teams, in which 32,075 participants took part, amounted to PLN 152,213 this year.
We are proud to take part in this unique race once again, and above all, to support the beneficiaries of the Poland Business Run foundation. Thank you for supporting our teams! Next year we will also compete!
A short report from this year’s event, prepared by organizer of the event, is available here.
However, this is not the only sport and charity campaign in which we take an active part; our support – for the seventh time – was also given to Le Cure, which is a bicycle race held every year in the French Alps to support research into innovative cancer treatments.
We invite you to watch a short photo report from the event, during which this year participants covered a distance of 453 km and an elevation of 10 034 m, overcoming their own limits!
